Mabrey then left the store for a few seconds before he re-entered and proceeded to strike three other victims — an Erie man, a Union City man another North East man — in the face.
While this incident was occurring, Mabrey was yelling profanities and attempting to get people to fight him. After Mabrey struck the fourth victim, he left the area driving westbound on I-90 in a 2006 Buick Lacrosse. All victims suffered injuries during this incident. Mabrey was located and stopped by state police at Meadville on I-79 south near mile marker 147. He was placed under arrest without incident.
Mabrey was charged with one count of aggravated assault, multiple counts of simple assault, multiple counts of harassment and one count of disorderly conduct. He was remanded to Erie County Prison pending arraignment.
