From State Police Reports
State police at Corry conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for a summary traffic violation near Wilkie and Sterling roads at 1:35 p.m. Nov. 28. Upon investigation, police determined the vehicle’s operator, a 31-year-old Union City man, was driving under the influence. DUI and summary traffic charges are pending through District Judge Amy Nicols’ office. State police did not release the name of the accused.
State police at Corry conducted a traffic stop on a 2005 Chevrolet Malibu near Wattsburg and Maple streets in Union City, at 10:55 a.m. Dec. 24. While interacting with a rear passenger of the vehicle, police determined he was in possession of a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. A front passenger was also taken into custody for warrants out of District Judge Denise Buell’s office. Charges were filed against the rear passenger through Buell’s office for Act 64.
