By Chris Lash and staff reports

It’s Election Day, and polls are open from until 8 pm. Pennsylvania once again is a major battleground state. And in recent days, you could certainly tell that Union City, has become an important community for both parties.

Both the Republican and Democratic parties, have had vibrant, and colorful campaign offices, almost side by side downtown. And in the past few days, the two offices, and supporters of both Presidential candidates, have had campaign rallies. At the same day and time.

Both sides filled the sidewalks downtown with signs, flags, and a competition on who could be the loudest, and get the most cars honking their horns in support of President Trump or Joe Biden

It also tells a tale on how Union City residents treat each other. Because the rallies remained peaceful throughout Sunday afternoon.
