The National Weather Service office in Cleveland forecasts the possibility of snow for parts of the county heading into the Halloween weekend and again entering the first week of November.

Overnight Thursday, and into Friday morning, the forecast calls for as much as a 60% chance of rain and snow in southern and eastern Erie County, including Union City, Edinboro, Waterford and Wattsburg. New snow accumulation of less than a half-inch is possible, and the low temperature will be around 32 degrees.

There remains a chance of snow showers before 9 a.m. Friday, then a chance of rain and snow showers until around 11 a.m. New snow accumulation of less than a half-inch is possible.
