From State Police Reports

State police at Corry initiated a traffic stop at 12:46 a.m. Sept. 2 at East High Street and Market Street in Union City. Through investigation, it was determined that all three occupants of a 2006 Nissan Sentra — a 23-year-old Union City man, a 34-year-old Corry man and a 36-year-old Wattsburg man — were in possession of drugs and drug paraphernalia. Charges are pending. State police did not release names.

Troopers from Pennsylvania State Police at Corry responded to a criminal mischief incident on Sept. 3 at about 6 a.m. near Main Street and Jackson Street in Union City. A 58-year-old man and 30-year-old woman, both of Union City, related that unknown individuals slashed a total of six tires on three different vehicles overnight. Each vehicle’s driver’s side tires were punctured on the sidewall leaving them unable to be repaired. Vehicles vandalized are a 2011 Chevrolet Aveo, a 2014 Ford Escape and a 2012 Honda LTD Civic. The investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information is asked to contact the state police Corry barracks at 814-663-2043.

State police at Corry said troopers responded to 201 State St., Erie, to conduct a standard investigation interview on Aug. 22 at 4:06 p.m. Upon conducting the interview, it was found that Ryan Cox, 28, of Union City, had in plain view a used syringe protruding out of his pants pocket. A probable cause search was conducted in which troopers found a glassine baggie containing methamphetamine. Charges were prepared through District Judge Suzanne Mack.
