As the Governor has extended the closing of schools, Union City Area High School continues to move forward on positive decisions. The district has asked parents to take part in a survery, about internet capability in the school district. If you can’t take the survey online at ucasd.org you can follow these instructions.

Listen to the directions, ​Welcome to the Union City Area School District Survey Line. We only need one survey completed per family. Please clearly state the first and last name and the grade of all students living in your home. Do you have internet service at your home? Do you have a working internet capable device in your home? If so, please specify what type of device would be used by the students? Thank you for your time and assistance in completing the survey.

When you hear the beep, answer the following questions: a. State the names (First and Last) and grade(s) of all students in the household attending UCASD schools. b. Does your family have internet access? Yes, No, Hotspot c. Does our family have access to an internet-capable device that works? For example: Laptop, iPad, Android Device, Chromebook, Desktop PC, Other 4. Only one survey needs to be completed per family

School closures have been extended for two more weeks. They will remain closed through at least April 6. The Union City Area School District is going to be posting non mandatory school assignments to their website at ucasd.org.

Also in Union City with all non essential businesses closed.

The Union City Borough Building and Borough Garage is not allowing any public access. If you have questions or complaints regarding the Borough, you can contact the Borough office at 814-438-2331, Monday – Thursday 8:00 – 4:30 and Fridays 8:00 – 3:30.


For NON-EMERGENCY POLICE CALLS you can contact the Police Department at 814-438-3441, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday 8:00 – 3:30 and Wednesdays 8:00-1:00.
