Higley, 72, of Union City, passed away, Thursday, February 6, 2020 at Saint Vincent Hospital. She was born on May 24, 1947 in Erie, Pennsylvania a daughter of Stanley Gocal and Ann LaHuski Gocal. She married Robert L. Higley on August 2, 1967.

She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and bowling. Mary is survived by her husband, Robert “Bob” Higley of Union City; a daughter, Becky Higby and her husband Michael of Saegertown; a son, Bob Higley II and his wife Caron of Union City; six grandchildren, Tristan Higby, Kylee Higby, Bronnan Higley, Jamon Higley, Rienna Higley, and Nikaylin Higley; three sisters, Veronica Miller of Union City, Marge Womack of New Jersey, and Rose Gerhes of Ohio; and two brothers, Stanley Gocal, Jr. of Massachusetts and Ed Gocal and his wife Cathy of Townville.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and several brothers and sisters.
