By Chris Lash Publisher

Residents and former Borough Councilmen Dustin Kolaja, and Charles Steadman decided to depart council last year, and with no one running last November, two seats remain open as council starts business in the new year.

Any residents interested can be appointed to one of the two seats, no matter what ward in the Borough you live in. That seat however will only last until the next municipal election in two years. Then if you run, you have to live in the ward your running in. If you win, it would be a four year term.

Anyone interested in serving the community on council, can show your interest at the Borough office, open Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m Borough Council meets the second and fourth Tuesday of each month.
