The Union City Bears played Cambridge Springs for the top spot in the region in basketball, and lost 53 to 35. Cole Disimone led the Bears with 14 points. the Bears struggled at the foul line making just two of six.

The Blue Devils improved to 3-0 in the region and 8-2 overall. UC fell to 3-1 and 6-5. The Devils were unstoppable, scoring the first 11 points. DeSimone tried to will the Bears back with a pair of triples to open the fourth, but the lead was too vast. He ended the game leading all scorers with 14 points.

Also for Union City, Keegan Hornaman scored 11. For Cambridge, Lance Welker led with 13 points. Held contributed 11 off the bench.
