Bears Lose 6th Straight

From Staff Reports

The Union City’s boys basketball team lost its sixth straight game Wednesday night to Harbor Creek 62-29 in a nonregion contest.

The Bears had trouble finding the net, scoring their second lowest total of the season. Late last year, they scored only 25 points in a game against Corry.

Some of the bright spots for the Bears, were Cole DeSimone making three 3-pointers, finishing with 11 points. Matthew Bennett had six points off a pair of 3-point baskets while Colton Bojaczko made 4 of 6 free throws. The Bears are now 6 and 10 on the season.
