Massive Oversize Load Travels Through Union City, Breaks Down Later

The truck hauling a massive dryer from Erie to Lock Haven took up most of Main Street in Union City as it traveled through town.
Later the vehicle, which travels at a very slow speed, broke down along Route 77 near Riceville. . The truck broke down Saturday afternoon. Following repears, it began moving again on Sunday. The 630,000-pound load began its journey Thursday in Erie. It can travel no-faster than 15 miles per hour, so the 300-mile journey to Lock Haven was expected to take nearly eight days.
