From State Police Report

A man died from his injuries after he fell and his rifle went off in LeBoeuf Township Sunday. Pennsylvania State Police were called to the 5200 block of Route 6 in Mill Village around 11:55 a.m. for a man with a gunshot wound.

Troopers arrived to find John Schroyer, 83, lying in the grass behind a residence. Investigators said Schroyer accidentally fell in the snow, which caused the accidental discharge of a rifle. The victim died from a single gunshot wound to the chest, according to State Police.
