UC Bears Running Game Dominates Eisenhower in Win

The Bears bounced back big, following their opening loss to Reynolds last week. The Bears backfield led by Austin Jaquith and Logan Kesselring’s one two punched, led to 380 yards on the ground on 47 carries. Jaquith had 166 yards and scored four touchdowns, while Kesselring added 157 yards and one touchdown.

Jaquith scored three touchdowns in the first half, while Kesselring scored from six yards out as Union City led 28-7 at the half. Jaquith broke a 49-yard touchdown run early in the third quarter to put the game away.

The Bears are now 1-1 overall, and 1-0 in Region 2. They travel to Farrell next week.
