From Staff Reports

Erie County Council for a second time Tuesday took no action on County Executive Kathy Dahlkemper’s four proposed appointments to the Erie Metropolitan Transit Authority. One of the appointments from Dahlkemper is Union City’s David Robinson, Executive Director of the Union City Family Support Center. Robinson would represent Union Township. But both City Council and County Council have delayed action on the appointments.

With the delay, the EMTA board won’t have full membership until at least the end of the month. The next council meeting is slated for October 30th. Dalhkemper is responsible for four appointments, while Erie Mayor Joe Schember has five. Both executives called for the resignation of the entire EMTA board to resign back in September.
