From Press Release

Matt Bennett, Superintendent released the following information. Mrs. Joan Quickle is planning to retire at the end of this December 2018. We will all miss her and look back with appreciation for everything she has done for the Union City Area School District and Community. Joan has served Union City in the roles of a teacher, administrator, and Director of Curriculum and Special Programs over the past 21+ years. In that time she has made countless contributions to our students, faculty, staff, and community. Please join me in thanking Joan and wishing her the best in her final few months before retirement. “Mrs. Quickle has done an incredible amount for the Union City Area School District. She has brought in countless grants and has been a huge influence on our current STEM and Agriculture programs.” said Bennett.
