From Staff Reports

UNION CITY — State police at Corry said Mackenzie S. Thomas, 19, of Corry, was at the intersection of Bridge and East High streets making a right turn onto East High Street to travel eastbound at 9:05 a.m. Sept. 22. Police said Thomas undercompensated and made a wide turn into the westbound lane in front of a tractor-trailer driven by Dayton R. Gank, 47, of Waterford. Thomas’ 2017 Jeep Wrangler hit Gank’s 2014 Freightliner Cascadia head on at an angle, causing major front-end damage. No injuries were reported and Thomas was cited with a traffic violation.
