Union City Borough will be holding an auction featuring items no longer needed or used by the borough including public works, and the police department. On Friday, October 12th at 3 pm, the auction will take place at the Union City Borough garage, at 29 Willow Street at 3 pm, with auctioneer Larry Ploss.

The only item set for a minimum bid of $5,000 is a 2000 F750 Ford dump truck. Other items with no minimum bid include, a cycle bar and cycle bar parts for a Ford tractor, a cement mixer with a towable gas powered motor, a Troybuilt 30-inch 1hp track snowblower, Kawasaki Tamper, Coleman Powermate Generator, Ingersoll-Rand air compressor that needs a motor, a Chamberlain 1/2 hp garage door opener, tar buggy, three four-drawer file cabinets, 16 parking meters and parts, bicycles, moped and/or fluorescent light fixtures.

The public is invited to bid on all items.
